English Mountain Spring Water & Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center
We strive to use the best ingredients available to make our moonshine, which is why we are proud to partner with English Mountain Spring Water. English Mountain Spring is located in a quiet, little hollow in the Great Smoky Mountains and became a “discovered” water source in 1883. The English Mountain Spring water company takes great pride in bottling their water 900 feet from the source, thus bringing a taste of nature’s perfection to its loyal customers. English Mountain periodically delivers 300-600 gallons of their spring water to use in the fermentation and blending process. When making his moonshine, William “Doc” Collier himself used water from English Mountain known then as “the Promised Land” by the locals. We are proud to keep this tradition alive and bring the best product we can to our loyal supporters.
We are also proud to partner with the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center and help raise funds to further their goal of education and preservation. The Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center’s mission is to preserve, protect, and promote the history and culture of the individuals who inhabited the Great Smoky Mountain region. They offer educational programs, demonstrations, and festivals so people can explore what life was like for those who settled here and made a life in these mountains. In an effort to help keep our history alive, we are donating five dollars from every sale of our Heritage moonshine to the Heritage center.
